· The rentprice Team

Mixed signals by community

Woodmont Way at West Windsor led the market with a 2.0% increase, moving to $3,000/mo—the high end of the surveyed range. This jump suggests some upward pressure in the West Windsor submarket.

Avalon Princeton on Harrison moved in the opposite direction, dropping 4.7% to $2,820/mo this week. The decline pulls this community back after recent strength, making it one of the lower-priced options in the area.

Lofts at Princeton held steady at $2,429/mo with no change this week, while The Mews at Princeton Junction remained at $2,278/mo as the most affordable entry point among tracked properties.

What this means for renters

The flatlined median change masks genuine movement at individual properties. One community rising while another falls suggests renters may find some negotiating room depending on which complex they're targeting. The nearly $800 monthly spread between the most and least expensive starting rents offers real choice for different budget needs.
