Princeton, NJ Apartment Rent Changes — August 23, 2026

· The rentprice Team

Princeton apartment rents saw light movement on August 23, with eight floorplans adjusting at a single community, Woodmont Way at West Windsor. Overall, the trend tilted downward—seven units dropped in price while one rose.

The one price increase came from the Garnet, a one-bedroom, one-bath unit at 830 square feet, which jumped $75 to $2,820 per month (+2.7%). The unit now sits at the higher end of the price-change spectrum for the day.

Most price shifts landed among two-bedroom, two-bath units, where decreases ranged from modest to minor. The Amethyst (1,415 sqft) saw the sharpest decline, dropping $75 to $3,705 (−2.0%). The Quartz (1,310 sqft) fell $50 to $3,470 (−1.4%), while the Onyx (1,515 sqft) edged down $45 to $3,625 (−1.2%). Four other two-bedroom units—Pearl, Jade, Sapphire, and Emerald—each lost $20, landing at prices between $3,135 and $3,500 (−0.6% across all four).

The price reductions, though small in percentage terms, suggest some softening in the market for mid-size units at this community. Renters shopping in Princeton may want to track whether this downward trend holds in coming days.
