Princeton, NJ Apartment Rent Changes — August 13, 2026

Princeton, NJ apartment rents shifted downward yesterday, with broad price cuts outpacing gains across the metro's tracked communities.

Thirteen floorplan adjustments occurred on August 13 across Avalon Princeton on Harrison and Woodmont Way at West Windsor. Twelve of those changes were decreases; only one rose.

Avalon Princeton on Harrison

Most of the activity concentrated at Avalon Princeton on Harrison, where six studios and one-bedrooms dropped between $45 and $60. The steepest cut came to the 001-112 unit (1 bed, 727 sqft), which fell from $3,020 to $2,960—a loss of $60 or 2.0%. The 001-146 studio (545 sqft) declined by $55, or 2.1%, from $2,680 to $2,625. The remaining units at this community—001-431, 001-429, 001-212, and 001-345—each fell by $45 to $50, representing decreases between 1.5% and 1.7%.

Woodmont Way at West Windsor

Woodmont Way at West Windsor recorded seven price movements, with mixed results. One two-bedroom floorplan moved in the opposite direction: the Onyx unit (2 bed, 2 ba, 1515 sqft) rose by $55 from $3,840 to $3,895—a gain of 1.4%. The other six units all declined modestly. One-bedrooms Ruby and Garnet each fell by $40 (1.5% and 1.4%, respectively), while four two-bedroom units—Pearl, Jade, Sapphire, and Emerald—each saw $20 reductions, all reflecting 0.6% declines.
