Princeton apartment rents edged lower on August 2, 2026. Across twelve tracked floorplans at Avalon Princeton on Harrison and Woodmont Way at West Windsor, eight units posted declines while four rose slightly.

The largest drop came at Avalon Princeton on Harrison's 001-345 (1 bd, 727 sqft), which fell $60 to $3,000—a 2.0% decrease. Woodmont Way's 1-bedroom units followed, with both the Ruby (860 sqft) and Garnet (830 sqft) plans dropping $30 each to $2,865 and $3,015 respectively. Three more Avalon units declined by $20 or less: 001-112, 001-429, and 001-172.

Woodmont Way's 2-bedroom inventory also moved downward. The Sapphire plan fell $20 to $3,510, while Pearl and Emerald each dropped $15 to $3,315 and $3,680. The Jade 2-bedroom held nearly flat, rising just $5 to $3,430.

On the upside, a pair of Avalon studios at 001-146 and 001-431 each gained $10, reaching $2,745 and $2,960 respectively.

Most moves were modest in percentage terms, with declines ranging from 0.4% to 2.0% and increases under 0.4%. Over a single day, this pattern suggests routine inventory repricing rather than a major market shift.
